Old Sturbridge Village did not have a visual brand style guide, so before I redesigned the Annual Report, it was essential to set up some clear guidelines. I did extensive research in the museum archives to find historically correct fonts from the time period the museum recreates (1790s - 1830s). It was important that the style be historically accurate but that the visual brand also be convert and meet modern-day best practices across all assets.
